During a comedy trial the young turtle, asked only what he would add, claimed to be the only one who can fold a paper airplane, then could not remember whether he had folded it or just stared at it. His own joke, his own callback. Inconclusive. Promising. The jar stays empty: he was asked.

Curator's note NEW

Every natural history museum keeps one case for a creature that hasn't been caught yet. Ours is for the day the young turtle walks in with an idea of his own. It's the only jar here labelled with hope instead of evidence, and I'm keeping it that way on purpose.

The first footprint near the jar is a joke about not remembering whether he did something. The cryptid left a track and then wondered whether it was his.
